Thanks, he did just get separated from his dad and brother, so might be a bit traumatized. My friend's getting a "real" mite treatment from a pet store for him today and will try that out as well. I'll talk to my vet about Hiro next time I update him about my Izzie.

On bless him poor little one. Mine have lost fur through age which isn't applicable here, and allergy. Whizz is allergic to pine and megazorb, and only seems ok on carefresh. He looses fluff all over and it sets his mites off.

It may be worth treating him for mites as your friend already plans too, and if it happens again change the substrate.

Lets hope the treatment works, if mites is the case.
