No problem, I know how much it helps to have someone trying to help, so just I'm sorry I couldn't really find much helpful to say in the end.
I do completely understand the panic though, and its why so many on the forums are here to try and help (And why I keep the book nearby for when I'm stuck trying to help )
I'm sure she'll be ok until you see the vet though

Let us know how the vet visit goes?

It's good that she seems better in herself, if she's perked up a bit then she should be fine overnight, and you'll get peace of mind from taking her for a good check over at the vet. I really hope it's nothing to worry about, she's a lovely looking little ham

You were plenty helpful, believe me
I'll certainly post when I get back from the vets with the good news and I'll take you up on your offer of health check tips for a squirmy Syrian!

Aw thank you Pompompoms! She is brighter than earlier that's for sure, but not quite her normal self. I suppose if she has got mites or similar she's probably not feeling quite like being normal anyway, so I'm hoping it's something as simple as that She gave me quite a fright!

Good, and I'm sure it will be good news
And since our Scamp refuses to stay still I've got a few of those tips lol. I've been responsible for her health checks from the start and unfortunately for Scamp have been stubborn about doing them... So in the end we found a way that we both agree sort of works. She thinks its mostly a game and tolerates it being a not-great game for a while, and I accept that she's never going to make it easy so am grateful when she agrees her games can work with the health check I'm trying to do lol
