That`s great. Better to get your vets opinion on what these little spots are and then you can get a better idea of what`s going on. If you are charged for just the consultation, remember to ask your vet for a receipt so you can show it to Pets At Home. If charged for treatment aswell, it could be that it will be a one off or a return follow up visit. Either way, Pets At Home should pay for your hamsters treatment. It`s nice that they have said they will honour this though.

took honey hamster to vet after a long 20 mins of trying to get her into travel cage, she wouldnt let the vet go near her, was hissing, charging at her, etc....infact the vet said the previous patient(rottweiler)was a piece of cake compared with honey, and that she'd never seen a hamster so angry and aggressive, anyway was given xeno 50 drops, even though vet was unsure what was on the hamsters ears,..1 drop, then another in 2 weeks, then another 2 weeks after that, £25:50!!!!!
got a receipt took it pets at home, and was reimbursed, and they exchanged my carefresh for a new bag just in case that was the cause

That`s great that you got some Xeno to treat her and that Pets At Home payed and also gave you a new bag of substrate. I wouldn`t worry too much about the little white specs in her ear unless they were to grow bigger or become a problem for her. If they are little warts, they could just be superficial. Something to keep an eye on.

I`ll bet the vet was wearing mesh gloves!
