Default Sticky Eyes

My Boo-Boo's has very sticky eyes when he first wakes up.
The poor guy cannot open them as they are stuck together, it takes a good half hour for him to be able to open them fully and most of the time this is after ive bathed them a little to get him to clean them so they come unstuck.

Can anyone tell me why this is happening and how i can stop it? Is it something he needs to be seen by a vet about?

Thanks

Default Re: Sticky Eyes

Sometimes it can be a sign of an infection. Sometimes it just happens - and gets more frequent in old age.

If it is the latter, a cotton bud dipped in warm water can help wipe it away. Use a different one for each eye.
