Oh no . I've been keeping her in my thoughts and really hoping it wasn't anything serious.

I'm so sorry MzWiz, take some time out, don't rush anything. The right decision will come to you when it's time.

I'm only a PM away.

Oh no! *HUGS* I'm sooo sorry, I've been hoping all day it would be better news than this. I wish I could give you some advice about what to do, but all I can say is really you know her best and how poorly she may be feeling. As Hamtastic said the right decision will come, and feel right. And you know we are all here for you too.

We can deny our angels exist. Convince ourselves they can't be real. But they show up anyway. In strange places. And at strange times. Then can speak through any character we can imagine. They'll shout through demons if they have to- daring us, challenging us to fight

I'm sorry to hear this. Our Runty lived for several months and he was comfy and happy so you just have to take it a day at a time.
If you listen carefully with your heart she will tell you when she needs to have some help to take her next steps on the path to the bridge. It is a great gift to see when this time has come and a selfless action to let her fly free even when you want to keep her with you.
All you can do is listen. Your hubby loves her too and he will understand if she cannot wait to say farewell. Often they do though.
I hope her path is gentle and her twilight times are comfortable. They will certainly be filled with love x

I'm really sorry to hear the news. Like everyone says, you'll know what to do when the time comes. I think she knows she is very much loved by you and your partner. So she's lucky to have you both caring for her and being with her through this time.

I'm sad to hear this news and can especially relate to what Hamtastic posted as I've gone through similar emotions when my mum was terminally ill and also had terminally ill pets in the past. I am sure Sandy knows how much she is loved by the both of you...
