I'm sorry to share that no, she's not improving. We're going to the vet in a little while. She's still so sleepy all the time, and last night she didn't eat very much which worries me. Perhaps the improvement was just a burst of energy from symptom management...

I'm really scared and worried about today. I'm just not ready to say good bye if she can't be helped....

Sandy is not going to recover. She has multiple tumors in her abdomen compressing her organs. The vet says that she's not able to predict if Sandy will hold on for days or weeks, but that this is only going to get more painful for her. She reccommended putting her down because surgery would be too much for her. I'm crying as I type this, so I apologize if the wording is off, but I'm totally devastated.

I'm not ready to say goodbye to her. But keeping her alive to suffer a long slow death isn't right.

I wish my OH was here to help me with this, but he's out of town until Wednesday.

I'd like to wait until then so we could say goodbye to her together, he loves her too. But I feel selfish keeping her in pain with no qualiyty of life.

I can't think straight about this right now.

HUGE hugs! <3 I think you will know when the time comes. It's indecision now, but there's no immediate need. I think you will see her and the right decision will come and will feel right <3 When my dad was getting much worse rapidly, we didn't know if it was going to be weeks or days and were stressing out non stop, but then it was about to happen and it was actually very peaceful and I was glad and relieved for him to be free from pain. It's no hamster, but the feelings are similar.
