Yeah, allergies can develop suddenly to things that did not used to cause them. I'd try some very hypoallergenic bedding--something like Carefresh Ultra (white) if you have that in Germany, or a similar bedding. Does Pringles use any litter? I'd stop using that too. Basically go with a hypoallergenic bedding all over and exclude anything extra to see if it makes any difference. Are there plants next to his cage that could be shedding spores/pollen? Room sprays, perfume, etc. Food formula change.

on the note of whether it's only sable/black hamsters that can have cushings - I had a golden hamster and she got cushings (hers also started on her abdomen)

Hope he gets better Nappo =[

Thanks for this info, must just be more common in those colours.

Nappo, how long has he been losing fur for?

Also, he seems to have fur loss on his head? This is usually the last place of fur loss for Cushings after the body, legs etc. Maybe check the wiki page too for some extra info.

@hamtastic
Yup,we have, i'll go to the pet shop tomorrow
But no plants, perfume, room spray or food change.

@Katie
Thank you ;O;

@Snickersthefirst
I dunno exactly...i think i realized it 3 weeks ago. But the weight loss started earlier and i thought it was caused by the red bird mites he had a while ago and that i could handle this. But i couldn't...
*nod* A little on the head too.
But his bottom is totally haired.
I don't think it's cshing anymore.

Hmmm, the hairloss is VERY rapid. I have no idea what to suggest other than a skinscrape (if one hasn't been done) to check for parasites.
