Question Why is he in his bed at night?

I got Chief last Saturday and he seems to be settling in nicely. The only issue we have had is his wheel which is really noisy, he wakes up around 8-9pm and does a lot of running and we let him have a go in his ball which he seems to enjoy but we have to take his wheel out around 1:30am when we are going to sleep. Tomorrow I am ordering him a better wheel that should be more quiet then I won't have to take it out.

When I take his wheel out I replace it with one of those flying saucers, he had a good run on it today and seemed to like it but then he went to sleep about 2:15am and I was wondering if he was ok. I hate the thought of him being board. He has other things in his cage with him.

Any advice will be appreciated, thank you.
