watch out for the tissue to be dusty too. unless you cut it with scissors, sometimes if you just rip it, the torn edges result in some dusty particles.

I got some pre-chipped stuff from pets at hone with is cut with jaggered lines so isnt dusty cost a small fortune thoughe - £9 for one cage full!

I managed to dab the cotton wool onto her eye a couple of times this morning too. Her eye is still open, but more squint than the other and looks a little sore. I will bathe it once more tonight but then I've got to take her to my mums for the week...hope she'll be ok

Regis (my dwarfie) sometimes used to have that. I tried to find out what it was but couldn't as there was no discharge and it did not seem to be causing him any pain. It would open after a few minutes of being awake. I never did find out why...
I don't think it's quite the same though as her eye takes a while to open. I think Regis's would just get 'stuck' from sleeping
