Re: a very swollen Monster : [
A swollen belly is a bad sign and I would definitley take her to the vets, it sound slike shes in pain
It could be a tumour or a womb infection, both of which their might not be much the vet can do.
All the best, I hope shes alright x

Re: a very swollen Monster : [
Is she an old hamster debs? It depends on what the swelling is. If it`s fluid build up in the abdomen it may just be treated with a diuretic, although a bloated abdomen can mean organ failure somewhere, normally the heart, but do see your vet as they will be able to have a feel and see how she is.
Is Monster a syrian?
