Hiya AI - I hope that Bear is going to be okay. See how it goes at the vet and listen to your heart if the news isn't favourable. If you want me to ... i can.

Suga that would be really nice if you have the time?

He's being seen in an hour..he seems ok but after last night that wasn't normal hammy behaviour.

FIngers crossed

Hello everyone,

Just got back- was a lovely practice, very friendly. I saw a small animal vet also.

The big scary- he weighs 118g..2 weeks ago at last weigh in he was his normal 185g. He was so well behaved, only nibbled her once and she said what a handsome boy he was

I explained everything and she took ages trying to listen to his chest without scruffing him. She said she could hear a rattle and he was sniffly also. But then mentioned it may be secondary to something else.

He's on a week of septrin (banana flavour hehe) and if he hasn't put weight on or got less raspy she wants to do bloods.

He won't be attending the show on sat of course!

He fell asleep while he was there, i think he has used up alot of energy.

On a nice practical note- I got the consultation free as a new client so saved £18 and the antibiotics cost £2 so so far not the financial worry..however the idea of them taking bloods from his little body scares me so much.

Just wish i knew what was wrong, he wouldnt empty his pouches either so she wants me to keep an eye on that.

So yes, keep sending Bear your healing vibes- it was he who brought me to HC
