Unhappy Thingumy's toes have disappeared and his leg looks sore!

I'm sure he was ok yesterday so I think this has just happened in the last 24hours!

Giving him his meds for his sore eye just now, I noticed his right foot looks stumpy compared to his other foot. Like his toes have disappeared! I tried to have a proper look and his leg looks a bit swollen and pink and sore looking too

what could have caused this? I tried to take a pic my camera isn't connecting properly but will keep trying to upload it!
So strange! I want to take him to the vet tomorrow after college. Hopefully he isn't in pain as he is having metacam anyway!

Just tried to have another look and it seems there is a lump or really swollen bit on his leg and possibly dry blood. It is really hard to see though he won't straighten it

Any ideas how this happened? Or any ideas what has caused it?

Poor Thingumy, he isn't having a great time just now!

I know Will do debs! Just checked him again, and his foot definitely looks sore and he was cleaning it. I notice his other leg though this time...looks like it has been chewed at!!! I'm really worried now! It looks bad!

Added pics ...sorry they are really blurry but you can kind of make out his toe-less looking foot His other leg looked so thin you really can't see how bad it looks in these pics ...I'm so worried

There is only the wheels, a sand bath, a log tube, a plastic tube, a woven house and a sputnik house? :/

I could be going doo-lally like with the beetroot thing, but I'm sure I remember someones hammy ages ago getting really itchy as a side effect from metacam? Did I imagine that?

I'm not sure what is going on here but it looks like he needs seen again by the vet. It could be a reaction to the meds or it could be circulation related causing his feet to swell. Poor little man is having an awful time and I hope something can be sorted out for him

I dont know what it could be but I looked at an article about hamsters somewhere and it said they loose theyre nails if they have a protein deficiency I dont know if it is as souffle said it could be a reaction to his meds
