Something's Up With Rin
I don't know whether old age is finally starting to take my poor Rin but last night when I had her out for some reason her heart was beating a lot faster and she seemed really disorientated and shaky. I know she's 2 and a half now so she's started on a downward slope but is there anything I can do to help her?

Re: Something's Up With Rin
Could she had had a fall? Bless her how is she generally? Still pooing peeing ok? Eating drinking fine?
I would take out any levels now and put food and water close to her if it isnt already, and keep a close eye on her.

Re: Something's Up With Rin
She's in a bin cage so she's got no levels anyways since I had to move her because she couldn't handle her old cage's levels anymore. She's not eating as much anymore but she's drinking and everything else fine. I call her my little old lady but it's still hard to watch her become so frail

Re: Something's Up With Rin
Bless her well it sounds like you are doing all you can for her, just keep her comforatble and give her lots of love and cuddles and keep a close eye out for any dramatic changes in behaviour. I am sure she will be with us for a while yet.

My boy Rocco is 2 years 9 months and he's shakey... He's just getting old
Lots of love, food and spoiling them with treats keeps them happy!
Rocco gets whatever he wants now

Just checked up on her, her head was poking out of her igloo and she seems so sullen now I dunno what to do.

Re: Something's Up With Rin
I'm sorry to hear age is taking its toll of her
The best you can do is make life as easy as possible for her and let her know if it is her time then shes free to pass to the bridge.
All the best xx

Re: Something's Up With Rin
My partner just called so I had to tell him about Rin not being herself anymore. He seemed pretty down (which is unusual for him) and told me to make sure I tell her Aizen, Toshiro and Luppi will play with her if she feels like she has to go. So sad though.
