My hamster is dying :(
Hello, I have a sick hamster. I went to the clinic. The doctor told me that she had a hematoma. So far, four weeks have passed. Her behavior has become less active. I really don't know what to do. She looks very tired. I'm in a country without a hamster doctor. I noticed yesterday that she is drinking a lot of water. This is not normal for her. Please help me what to do to make her better.

Re: My hamster is dying :(
I'm so sorry to hear that your hamster is sick.
What type of hamster is she? How old is she?
Firstly, a hematoma is basically a very serious bruise so did she get injured?
Drinking lots of water can be a sign of diabetes. Do you feed her food that is high in sugar? This can even be fruit or certain vegetables like carrots which contain high amounts of sugar. These foods should not be fed to hamsters, especially dwarf hamsters.

She is Syrian hamster, Her age one year and a half, yes i feed her carrots and some apple, she might be has diabetes, she got a hematoma by falling from her cage.
The hematoma developed from her leg until she reached her hand. The doctor told me to do warm compresses for her. Until now no sign of recovery

Excessive drinking can also be a sign of a Urinary Tract Infection (UTI) as well as other health issues.
Does she smell at all? Does her urine smell more than normal? This was just a thought, obviously you may need to take her back to the vets/clinic

Re: My hamster is dying :(
I agree with Lunathehamster1, she should go back to the clinic for a vet to have another look at her.
Syrian hamsters are less likely to get diabetes than dwarf hamsters so it might be that she is ill because of an infection or some other condition.
My only other advice is try not to handle her too much, if she is weak and tired let her sleep quietly and handle her as little as possible.

There is no smell of urine, she eats well,
I already Checked if that a sign of the Wet tail, than god it is not, The only problem is that she drinks a lot of water and as I mentioned earlier suffers of hematoma,
