Re: Sand
Ilet mine air dry, so not very high I would have thought, maybe put it on at a moderate heat and keep checking it regulary. Shouldnt take too long.

Re: Sand
I had mine like Gas mark 6 >.< just mix it once the top is dry..and don't touch it with hands as it burns >.< I was doing a lot of it though, so maybe less if you only want a little bit.

Re: Sand
I bake mine in the oven at 180C for 30 mins (just however much it takes to fill the sandbath), takes about 45 mins to cool enough to use. This is not just to dry it out but to kill off any bugs and things, because i'm paranoid

Re: Sand
Did mine on wednesday
For the second time
Oh, forgot to add that buster goes totally nuts in his new sand. I think he loves to have it a bit warm (for some reason. Obviously not hot, just warm) and digs and rubs scent all over it!
Silly fuzzball

Re: Sand
I know what you mean about the syrians and sand!! Honey spent most of the night digging around and rolling in her sand bath when I first gave it to her!
