Default Too calm/No energy

Hello,

One of my hamsters has become too calm or maybe no energy? Her appetite hasn't changed. She still eats and accepts whenever I gave her food. But she has become so calm.
Her activity got more less and she stays still in my hand for long time. Sometimes I see her staying still on the edge of her cage for minutes.
Is this sign of any kind of illness?

p.s. she's a 15 month old longhaired cinnamon Syrian hamster.

She's quite a bit older now so it's very probable she's just relaxed. They tend to calm down as they get older. I'm not aware of anything that could be wrong with her if she is still eating well, and might be using her wheel when you're asleep? Someone else might have different ideas.

I have 2 other hamsters in the same age which haven't changed at all.

Every hamster is different though. It sounds to me like she's just become calmer with age, my previous hamster never calmed down completely but my current hamster is much more laid back and much younger than yours (she's 17 weeks old). As long as she's eating, drinking, weeing and pooing as normal, doesn't have a runny nose and her breathing is normal then I don't think there is anything to worry about. It might be a good idea to take her to the vet for a check up and to put your mind at rest
