Re: Blood in Daisy's cage...
Well, back from the vets and Daisy was perfect as usual
The vet clipped her nail quickly and them gave her a look over.
Couldn't see any obvious signs of where the blood came from, so advised to keep an eye on her and to keep an eye on her pee incase its a urinary tract infection
It's just weird cos she never shoves her bum that far into the corner, but I'll just keep a close eye on her

Re: Blood in Daisy's cage...
Glad the vet didn't find anything - provided there is nothing wrong with her. Perhaps this is just one of the worlds mysteries? Anyway, hope that your monitoring doesn't find a problem, poor mite!

Re: Blood in Daisy's cage...
Thanks for all the well wishes.
There was no blood on top of house this morning, but then I noticed about 5 small spots of blood on the clear plastic of her cage - beside where I found the blood yesterday...
No she definitely wouldnt have put her bum up there.
I worried that she might have coughed it up or sneezed, but her breathing has been fine - normal rhythm with no clicks or wheezing
Then maybe she could have smeared it on there with her hands - but there are no cuts on her hands, so where would it have come from??
She got up this morning for porridge as normal and was gutsing that down. Her bum was a little sticky but it was clear so I think it was either her on heat or wee. her nose looked clear too..
The mystery continues
