Yes, this is a strange one... haha (and I promise I'm going to bed now). I just had Sen out, and I gave her a stroke and must have just hit the sweet spot as she froze and was super happy to let me pet her (even her head which she hates). I loved being able to stroke her (only slightly grossed out that it was arousing her) so I kept going, here's a vid:
Just wanna check that it's not bad to, ehm, encourage this? Haha... :/ I liked having her so pet-able... just hope there was nothing wrong with doing it...

Reason: add warning
Thats so odd! I mean if you think about, its like if our cat kneaded our legs and we got aroused by it haha. I wonder if hamsters look down on each other or keep it secret when it happens hehehe. I'm in a silly mood.
Glad to know I'm not the only one. At first it freaked me out, but when I stroked one of my hamsters, Delilah, she became very still, exactly how Sen posed, and she vibrated whenever I stroke her. So I stopped. When I asked the vet about it, she said I was giving her its orgasm :S :S :S
I'm a bit confused. Mine does that too, but he is... male. Do males have sensitive spots on the neck and back, too? Please tell me that males are different! I always thought that stroking their neck calms them because it reminds them of their mum cleaning them while they were breastfeeding... (By the way, I am not mistaking 'her' for a 'him'- I just checked ).
Reckon it'll help with bonding? I can imagine it would haha...
fsrv, I'm not sure what to make of you ham... I know that my female dog likes to hump legs - so it may be something along the same lines? Or he just really likes being stroked there
operationotohamstery, I was kinda wondering the same a little - like if she'd resent me for doing that to her... I don't think she does haha. :P

I was stroking Ruby and she did that! Lol i was confused then realised what she was doing, I just put her back in her cage! I dont know if its good for them or not so i dont want to do i to her too much :/ Bit of an awkward conversation...
Lol Gillzy.
Well, I don't know that much of hamsters, but I know cats really well and that they do that all the time and it's perfectly safe for them...
