Default Snorty Sen

As I said in my introduction, I have noticed Sen does what I thought was sneezing. But on closer inspection it's more of a loud exhale out of her nose. It is most frequent and loud when she is burrowing (not just in the sawdust, but in the corner of the hall) - it seems she pushes her nose right in and this causes her to need to clear her nose loudly. She does this too when she is cleaning her face, and must get saliva up her nose and need to clear it. She doesn't snort any other time, and is healthy, active and hungry/thirsty. Does this sound like something I should worry about, or is she just going to be a snorty hamster?

(The vets around here don't really care much about hamsters so I'm reluctant to take her there as they won't be able to do anything to fix her nose...)

I think she is just getting dust up her nose and snuffing it out. They need to sneeze just like any animal if something gets up their noses!
Some females also make this noise, like a wheezy, wiffly call when they are in season to attract a male

Hopefully when I put the Megazorb in her cage she'll have less dust in her cage. I'll just have to be aware on if its get worse or her breathing is laboured. Otherwise I'll just have a deal with her snorts. Thanks.
