Re: Sudden Hair Loss
Came across the ad by accident on Tesco's site and they are buying for £10 a gram atm which is great! My necklace turned out to be 9g so it's worth selling anything you have
Thank you

Re: Sudden Hair Loss
Well, the vet is thinking it's Mites atm with a bit of Dermatitis. She's had the injection and needs to have two more (one in 7 days and another 7 days after that). He said there could be an underlying problem but he's 90% sure it's Mites. I also got some Baytril and she needs 2 drops twice a day until she goes back to the vets.
Came to about £26 just for today so not too bad.

Re: Sudden Hair Loss
Im glad to hear that the vets went ok and she is being treated now. I hope it clears up and she is all better soon. I wish it wasnt so expensive though. Especially as you have to return another couple of times. XxX

Re: Sudden Hair Loss
Thanks all! She was very well behaved and I think she suprised everyone with how friendly she was. She seems to like the Baytril
Will have to see how she gets on with it!

Re: Sudden Hair Loss
Thanks guys.
I've never had a pet on Baytril before but roughly when should I start seeing improvements? Her skin is still flaky, dry and scabby; she's only been on the meds for 5 days though.
The vet did say there could be underlying issues due to her age so obviously I want this ruled out.

Re: Sudden Hair Loss
Glad that things aren't too bad and that all went well at the vet. I think they usually give a course for 7 days or so and then a check up. Sometimes additional meds are needed. Hope improvement comes soon.
