Default on the small side?

me again guys, weighed my lovely little flo last week and she was 83g (11weeks old) now she is 12 weeks old and weighs 97 grams. after reading everyone elses weights she seems quite small for her age, however she is a pet shop ham so im not 100% on her age. seems like a good weight gain 14grams in a week? she doesnt feel skinny when i hold her, she feels lovely and round lol must get some more pics of her now she is settled in. just wondered if you guys thought she seemed underweight. xx

She's only 12 weeks, that's still rather young I'd say. If she doesn't look or feel skinny and eats normally, that should be ok. Our syrian lady Mimi was only ever 90g at the most, and she was perfectly ok and healthy

I'd keep an eye on it and check on her regularly, so you can record any changes in weight early and take her to the vet if she looks ill or loses weight drastically.

I would say she is fine
Its sounds like shes eating well and putting on weigth gradually which is good!
Hamsters keep growing until up to 6 months old, so she could get quit ea bit bigger.

Obviously pet shop hams are much smaller, and every hamster is different, she could have been a runt and not got as much food as her siblings.

I'd say 97g at 12 weeks is absolutely fine, my previous hamster was only 119g at 10 months old.
