Question My Hammies Ears...

Are Against her Body? is this natural? she is also shivering. and her fur is not chic and sleek anymore its all like ruffled all over the place. i need help and advice ASAP!!!!!: confused:: confused:

This normally indicates they are ill, is she hunched over aswell? How is her eating, drinking and pooping?

I honestly can't tell you exactly what is wrong but this doesn't seem normal.

Like SnickersTheFirst said, that doesn't sound normal. Unfortunately she sounds like she might not be feeling very well. Is it just shivers when she's still or is she really shaky when she walks as well?

She doesent drink from her bottle; well not that i can see. she eats more than a hamster should and her poop is normal she shivers when walking and when still. thank u

If you haven't tried this yet - and if she'll let you of course - maybe take her out and try to warm her up a little by keeping her close to you...see if she improves. I'm no expert but I had a girly hammy go like that once and my body heat and a comfy towel seemed to help her a little. She may still need to see a vet though. Hopefully someone will have more helpful advice for you soon. Keep us posted and hope she gets better soon.

It is not normal behavior Taffy. If you cannot pick her up you need to take her to the vets for examination and treatment. Does her tummy look swollen at all?

she getting better. my mum cheked her and she was dehydrated and clogged up at her bottom. she is recovering and mum seys we may have caught it just in time.
