Re: My Hammies Ears...
This normally indicates they are ill, is she hunched over aswell? How is her eating, drinking and pooping?
I honestly can't tell you exactly what is wrong but this doesn't seem normal.

Re: My Hammies Ears...
Like SnickersTheFirst said, that doesn't sound normal. Unfortunately she sounds like she might not be feeling very well. Is it just shivers when she's still or is she really shaky when she walks as well?

Re: My Hammies Ears...
If you haven't tried this yet - and if she'll let you of course - maybe take her out and try to warm her up a little by keeping her close to you...see if she improves. I'm no expert but I had a girly hammy go like that once and my body heat and a comfy towel seemed to help her a little. She may still need to see a vet though. Hopefully someone will have more helpful advice for you soon. Keep us posted and hope she gets better soon.

Re: My Hammies Ears...
It is not normal behavior Taffy. If you cannot pick her up you need to take her to the vets for examination and treatment. Does her tummy look swollen at all?
