Exclamation Help!!!!!

Last night Noodles was having free roaming time and I have put my drink of vodka and cream soda on the floor for one second, like one split second and she launched herself into it! I managed to grab her before she went in, but she got some on her nose. She didn't squeek when I grabbed her, but she did end up jumping off me when I grabbed her and ended up on the floor (I was sat down by this point)...

She was in shock and then went mental running all around on me. If I hadn't have grabbed her she would have fallen in! I cuddled her and put her in her pen where she sat in her sandbath for 15 minutes totally ignoring me and giving me the cold shoulder.

She came back out as right as rain and played with me and her Daddy and ate her broccoli. I put her back in her cage then got her back out an hour or so later and she was fine, chipping and eating and playing. I think we both gave each other a shock, and the lesson to be learned is not to leave things unattended even for 1 second!

I know that they have a fast metabolism, and I know that she was playing all night in her wheel, so I am hoping no damage has been done, just a wet nose and a bit of shock for us both. Noodles seems to have no fear!

I wouldn't worry too much- one of mine had a tipple on some baileys and is fine now, hopefully wasnt enough and if shes fine over night should be ok.

Thanks guys, I just felt so bad for grabbing her, but I had no choice, she would have been swimming in it! It was just a tiny bit on her nose, she put her feet in first! I think it was the whole grab and drop and dry and cuddle thing that shocked us both! Plenty of love and attention tonight for Noodles (and no more booze, drunk hamster!) xxx
