Hamuel has passed away

My beautiful Hamuel has passed away at the age of 2 yrs 5 months. He carried on in his usual sparkly, cheerful way for just over a month after being diagnosed with a tumor, but last night he had a stroke. He came out to see me this morning with one front and one back leg just dragging, and he was quite shakey and not interested in food or water, or even hammie milk drops, which he loves. I picked him up and he just relaxed into my hands, but he was obviously stressed and in discomfort when he tried to move around, it was heartbreaking. Mum and I took him to the vets' about an hour ago and they put him painlessly to sleep. I miss him already, it's going to be horrible packing his cage and everything away. Rest in peace my little angel. You will always be so loved.

Sorry to hear about Hamuel

But I must say 2 years old and 5 months is a nice old age for a ham! He had a wonderful owner to have lived a nice long life. *hugs*

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Hamuel. He lived a long and happy life and was a real character, much loved and much missed. RIP Hamuel
