Red face Help - alot of dandruff O.O

Have been having a nosey at some of the threads about dandruff, but they seem to be about a few patches of it :S
Mango has it however pretty much all over his back, i noticed a few days ago when i was brushing him with a toothbrush but i brushed him backwards this time as i was trying to untangle bedding from him But... it's not clumps, its a lot! Also seems to have flaky dandruffy stuff on his ears
He's... ooh very roughly 8mths i think Not completely sure, got him from a petshop at 6mths :P
Is this normal?
I'm concerned now, have checked mimi and *attempted* pip and pop but they weren't having any of it! They're off sulking now But they don't have any (well mimi doesnt seem to)

is there anything wrong?
Thanks...

ps i dont want to bath him if not necessary and he doesn't like his sandbath... he uses it as a toilet now :P

What colour is his skin? Does it look redder than usual? It was your comment that he has it around his ears that made me think of mites - but without seeing him I cant be sure obviously . . .

Hmm maybe its just like humans - some of us get dandruff quite bad some days- others not. Maybe due to temp change.
My syrian got this, i took him to the vets and they gave him some stuff- and it cleared up in a few days

/Maybe it is becusae of weather... although to me its unlikely - they have the warmest room all year round, they have a big radiator in there so its always pretty warm
i'll see if i can pop in at some point
