Can hamsters snore or has mine got a cold?. Yesterday when my hamster was asleep my husband said he could hear what he thought was a snoring noise coming from the cage. I personally couldnt hear anyhing. During his active period he was fine and is eating and drinking normally and doesnt appear to have a runny nose or cold symptoms. However today I thought I heard a snore coming from the cage. It isnt a wheeze and he is breathing at a normal pace. So can hamsters snore or do I need to take Bertie to the vet?
