Re: Daisy has a sore foot
well I text my friend over the weekend - she's a vet, but only deals with emergancies otherwise I would have gone to her for an appointment. She checked her books while on duty last night and while there is no dose lister for hamsters, following the advice written she worked out for Daisy's weight the dose would be 0.17ml....so the other vet was waaaay off and I was just about right!
Daisy is with Mum now, I dropped her off last night. She was using the leg a little bit more again so hopefully the meds are easing it a little.
I'll be back on Friday with an update - hopefully good news

Re: Daisy has a sore foot
I would certainly bring up the medication dosage shazzy because what if you had given all that and it was wrong?
Glad to hear she is a bit easier with the foot now.

Re: Daisy has a sore foot
I think I will do soufflé - mum is taking her back on Thursday while I'm still away but I will call them when I get back to talk bout it... They obviously got the formula really wrong
Spoke to mum just now and daisy is still not walking on the leg at all... Worried that it is taking it's time. Will it ever get better?!
