Smile Its the hamster at the end of the day

I usually play with my hamster before i go to bed.
Today was such a bad day, and i am so stressed because of school, that i was specially happy to have my hamster Spock at the end of the day. Playing with him and giving him corn was the perfect way how to end nicely a bad night. I just wanted to share with everyone how glad i am that i can have a friend that is so undemanding and so nice and cute. Its just perfect. I love him.
I am sure the rest of you have it also like this, after a long day you can play with your hammie and forget about all!

Its amazing how something so simple such as cuddling or playing with an animal can truly lift any situation, even if its just a quick stroke of someone elses cat.

I love my two hams as they're there in the morning before I go to work (usually one is still up) and then they are there when I come back and need something cheerful. They never fail to make me laugh either.

Aww I'm happy for you Katty.

I always play with my two hamsters before I go to sleep too. Like what ameyjaney said, they never fail to make me smile and laugh.

Sammy's cage is in my room so he's the first one I see and talk to when I wake up, and the last one I see and talk to before I sleep. Every time I'm out with my friends or my boyfriend, I always want to go home early because I miss both Sammy and Teddy already and I wanna be there when they wake up, also so I can feed and play with them. I love my hammies.

Awww...that's so true! Even late at night when I want nothing better than to crawl in to bed, getting Brownie out for a few minutes for some play time leaves me feeling more relaxed and happy. Maybe it's the way she walks slowly, lifting her little feet up high when she's covering unfamiliar territory, or how she sits back on her haunches and lifts each hind foot up to her mouth for a cleaning or even the way she sticks her nose in the tub drain so that her snuffling is amplified...everything about her is just so adorable

Yes Katty I know exactly what you mean.

In some hospitals they bring in animals for the paitents to pet and stoke as the healing, soothing and calming effects of animals have been proven.

Awwww bless! This is soooo true! The greeting I get from my cat and my house bunnies when I walk through the door makes it all seem better!

Obviously I have to wait for my lil Jesse to wake up but even she seems happy with mummy's company now she's settled in
