Hi, recently I’ve started using Vitacraft wood shavings as bedding for my hamster and I am unsure whether it’s safe or not as I read somewhere that wood shavings aren’t really good for hamsters. It says it’s made of untreated soft wood, may I know if it safe for hamsters?
ive not used it myself but a quick look at the amazon reviews shows everyone loves it and uses it for a variety of different rodents without issues only complaint i seen was someone said it was dusty so not safe for mice but seems fine for hamsters seems like people love mixing it with paper bedding because it holds burrows a lot better
