Default Blue tack and hamster wheel

Hi i know blue tack is bad for hamsters but the wooden wheel keeps moving one my hammy runs because she runs fast if i put blue tack under the wooden base would that work but im a bit cautious of putting blue tack in the cage in case she would eat it so what are the alternatives to keeping the wheel down the wheel is on a platform

Thanks

I've heard that you can try using velcro, or non-toxic glue to keep the wheel in place. Or both. Velcro would probably be the most efficient because then you can take the wheel out to clean it or move it around, but if that doesn't work, try non-toxic glue.
