Unhappy Buried or cremated?

Hi folks, My beloved Syrian Annie died earlier this year. She was buried in my grandparents' backyard and has a lovely little grave, but I kinda wish I had her cremated and put into a keepsake urn. It would be a little weird (disrespectful??) to dig her up and cremate her, considering she's probably fully decomposed by now. I guess I just want some reassurance I did the right thing.

Anyway, I have two hamsters now and they have a lot of life left to live. I do think I'll have these two cremated when the time comes.

What I wanted to ask was what everyone else does with their deceased hamsters; did you guys bury or cremate?

Default Re: Buried or cremated?

I’ve buried all 6 of my hamsters that passed. Personally I keep their memories around through photos and by keeping a favorite toy from each of them. My bedroom walls and fridge are covered in photos of them and I can remember the cute happy memories whenever I look at the photos.

Maybe you could build a little something to celebrate your passed hamster’s life, some kind of decoration with a photo if you have any.

So sorry for your loss.
