Are panda bear/fancy bear and Syrian the same type?

I saw a black and white hamster up for adoption called a fancy bear, but she looked smaller than the rest of the Syrians. Are they the same type?

And if not, do they tend to be just as friendly with humans and require the same care and have the same lifespan?

No difference other than name. She's likely younger or just smaller.

Agreed, exactly the same thing! I also wonder if rescues/pet stores use those names as appealing/cute alternatives to their correct name haha.
