Yes and they need their mother to teach them as well.
When Gertie had this unexpected litter of 8 there was often pandemonium with the babies squabbling over food even though there was plenty.
No different from toddlers in a playgroup fighting over a particular toy one toddler wants for the simple reason that another is playing with it.
