I am always struck by how tidy Orko is. He leaves seed shells neatly in a hide and he does not really look like he moves anything in his cage. This video looks like he tries to clean a bit of bedding of hide hide.

I left a monkey nut for Orko yesterday. I cracked it to make it easier for him to open. These are two videos of him with the monkey nut.

He's such a little fusspot that it must be delightful to find something he likes and eats then pouches the rest for later.

Oh yes! That is a good point. It has been quite difficult to find things he likes. He still will only eat tofu right away and anything else will be eaten in nibbles all night.

Orko still avoids me. If I wake up late, he stays up later and if I wake earlier he goes to bed earlier. He has become more 'hamstery' as he uses his whole cage. He gnaws grapevine wood and uses his hides. I got him to use his hides by hiding a mealworm in them. I think he goes in just to check if he can find one. He has a thing for trying to climb his hides. Most are slippery so he cannot but he can climb his rodipet one. Here is a video of him doing just that.
