That's a great, multifunctional hide. They seem to like unglazed terracotta hides.

They are not so easy to find which is a shame.

Flower pots. The one Scottie has in the playground is Trixie. I was tempted to put it in his cage but am not brave enough after his last reaction when i changed something. He uses everything in his cage and seems to like it as it is.

That is a good idea. I agree it may be best not to move Scotties to his cage after last time.

Where do you buy flower pots without a drainage hole from? Any I see have a hole at the bottom which could pose a risk even if I were to seal it.

I'd try places like Hobbycraft. I never saw the hole as a risk because it's so small and a pot is used lying on its side. A piece of dowelling could be cut to size to block it off.

Thank you for the tip. I remember looking everywhere for flower pots without holes when I had betta fish but never found any.

Now that Orko is more active it takes me a lot longer to go through the camera footage. It is wonderful to see him so happy and busy. I notice he has a new game. He runs into his sand jar and then runs out again. I have a clip of it. He must have done that about 6 times last night.

The next video shows Orko pottering about and stopping to scratch himself with his cute little legs.

Scottie does that running in and out of his sand jar. I've never noticed him roll in the sand though, only dig. Does Orko roll?

Yes he does roll. It is so cute and always makes me smile. He rarely digs. Him and Scottie seem to be opposites.
