Thank you Stanza. I would love that. It is nice to hear from you.

Orko was up when I woke again. I waited a bit then went to talk to him. He was nervous and hid, came out then hid. I left out a mealworm and went to have my shower. He ate it when I left the room. I will start leaving out a mealworm if he is up when I am so he knows I am not a scary monster. Here is the clip of him eating it.

I took a picture of him looking at me. You can see how nervous he looks.

Wonderful! Isn't it absolutely amazing when this happens! When they stop running away. I know what it's like when we think that this is never going to happen and then it suddenly does.

It is wonderful. He will stay out for about a minute but it is wonderful progress. I am happy he took the mealworm.

What wonderful news!!! I'm so happy for you two Cloudy, all your patience and care is paying off. Maybe after some more treats, he'll be ready to investigate your hand

Orko did not get up until 2AM. He really has no pattern. Here is a cute clip of him climbing. I have not seen him dig in the coco soil. I am wondering if he would prefer it in a jar. Nowhere round here sells anything like that so I will look online.

The cutest thing ever happened. I noticed Orko chewing something in his aspen dig box and realised he took his whimzee in there! I checked and sure enough he has put it right at the back. Maybe he is concerned I will eat it. I so wish there was footage of him doing that. I think he must have done it a few days ago. He is using it less now that he put it there but he knows best.

Oh yes, whimzees are treasures and best kept out of sight.

Robos seem to like enclosed things. If you'e near an Asda or Ikea, you can get a glass bon bon jar from the kitchen section. They are popular with the hamsters.

Thank you Ria. I am not near an Asda but have ordered a similar jar online.

This is the first time Orko has been able to move his whimzee. He did not seem strong enough before. It is so cute.
