That could be it. As long as he is happy then it is fine. It is his cage after all.

I thought I would show a clip of Orko in the side of the cage he does not really use. He tends to walk about looking for seeds. In the footage I noticed he seems to have a white bit on the top of his head. I asked my partner to check and he said it could just be the lightening of the camera. Orko will only come out in the dark so it is hard for me to check such things.

If he's going walkabout he's still using that part of the cage. The white bit is probably a flake of bedding.

Scottie had a black face this morning. His fur was a bit dishevelled and the dark undercoat showed through.

Aw, I am sure you were surprised to see Scottie looking different.

I was surprised to see Orko spent 3 hours in the other side of the cage. He used his sand bath a lot and had fun on the green wheel. I then saw from the other camera that his purple wheel was not going smoothly. Orko is very resourceful to move to the other wheel.

I just had this thought of a human whose car wouldn't start and then walks over to use the back up car that's identical apart from the colour.

Orko must be the luckiest hamster in London!

I bought Orko two little hides that Cosmic recommended on her channel. I saw her Comet liked them so thought they would be ideal for Orko. A new platform I ordered I arrived today and I have added the hides. I hope Orko approves.

I'm looking forward to Orko's video tomorrow but have to wait till lunchtime because i'm working a short shift in the morning.
He may well give the new hides a sniff over because hamsters are nosy. Put a piece of tofu inside them and he'll go inside, lol. The tofu bait.
