Aw, thank you. The wheel is brilliant. It is so smooth. I am really pleased with it.

Re: Introducing Orko
I was looking forward to seeing what Orko would think of a shrimp cookie but he did not touch it. I have broken it up to see if he wants it in smaller pieces. He had quite a busy night.
Here is some footage of him. He is at the bottom of the screen.

Re: Introducing Orko
Lovely to get a close up of Orko.
They sometimes ignore new things at first but may go back to it at some point.
I've just arrived at Jolleys pet shed to stock up on a certain type of nibble stick the Syrians love. Has to be a particular one though. Hamsters can be so fussy and have me running around allover the place.

Thank you. It is so lovely you enjoy watching Orko's videos.
I have a feeling it is the size. Everything has to be broken up if he will attempt it.
Haha, you are travelling all over to get the right nibble sticks. They really have you well trained.

Re: Introducing Orko
Orko likes the shrimp cookie now that it has been broken up for him. I was wondering if the behaviour in this video is normal or shows signs of distress? He was standing up against the cage almost like he was distressed.

Re: Introducing Orko
Glad he's enjoying the shrimp cookie now.
I wouldn't worry about Orko standing up against the cage. Hamsters do that in tanks and Robos sometimes jump up as well. Same as climbing bars or holding on to them to look out in a barred cage.

Thank you so much for replying. I get so worried about him because I do not know what is 'normal' behaviour or a sign something is wrong. I really appreciate you advising me.

You're welcome and i totally understand that. I can identify with worrying especially when it comes to Robos.
