It is difficult to know. I spent ages looking up how to give tofu. It seems it is mainly given to hamsters by people in Singapore. I suppose you could try giving a tiny bit raw and see what happens.

No, i'll get the dried one and do what you do. That way i know it's safe.

Orko is now only drinking water from his bowl and not using the bottle. I put an extra bowl in for him and he used it. I noticed he hoarded a lot more food then usual. I wonder if he senses the heat wave and is planning on staying in his burrows.

Could well be. I think Robos are more likely to go underground than Syrians for example, who may move above ground in hot weather.

I once read a science paper that showed rats can predict when there will be thunder. Maybe hamsters know when certain weather is coming too.

I think they do and prepare for it. I find that they sleep more and are less active when it's hot.
