Last nights footage of Orko. He is by his seagrass house and then he looks like he is chewing something. The only thing there is the grapevine wood. Would he chew that?

Hamsters will have a go at chewing anything. Things meant for chewing and things that are not. Often the nibble and chew trying to find out if it's edible. Always amuses me the way Orko suddenly pops up.

That is way too cute! I love watching him slowly get more and more confident over the course of these videos. Look at him grooming out in the middle of the open too! I know hamsters groom so freaking much all the time, but he definitely looks like he's feeling more secure.

He came to me with 2wooden chews from his previous home. He never touches those now and just chews his whimzee.

I did a little experiment. I broke a meal worm in half and put it in a separate bowl to see if Orko may eat it and he did! So he does like meal worms just as long as they are not with his seed mix.
