In a small independent pet shop called petshed just down the road from me. I'm trying to think where else i've seen it.

Thanks! They're really nice. I've seen similar fruit and vegetable dishes but couldn't remember where. Plates like cabbage leaves even. They seem more suitable for pets than humans though.
Glad Rory loved his cake! It must have tasted nice for him to hoard the lot!

Yes, i heard him scrunching in his house. It was the mashed banana-egg-porridge oats-raisin and nuts one Henry liked.

Re: Happy Birthday Rory!
Mm sounds a bit like a hamster friendly banana flapjack Good idea to use oats instead of flour. I made a sugar free hamster "cake" once but don't think it tasted very nice! Oats seem the way to go.

It's so easy to make as well. Weigh a peeled banana and mash it with an egg then add oats (weight of banana + 30g) and a few raisins and chopped nuts. Add whatever you fancy. Then bake on baking paper at 180C till set. You can make little heaps with a teaspoon or a slab for flap jacks. I used some of the mixture for us and added cinnamon as well.

I loved the cake, a meal fit for a king! The presentation of it too was incredibly sweet. I’ve made banana porridge before but never tried baking them together, will definitely have to try this out!

Happy birthday Rory!
I will have to try the banana flapjack/cake recipe. I tried to make some kind of sugar-free carrot cake for a gerbil's birthday the other week but it didn't turn out very well and she refused to eat it!
I think I've seen the cabbage dish on Rat Rations.
