Lol, I loved this series of pictures with captions. It is like he wanted to enjoy his birthday cake in his little house. You made Rory such a lovely birthday.

Re: Happy Birthday Rory!
Rory asked to come out for some freeroaming so i put him down in the hall because Rodney was running around the hamster room. Had the room devider up.
Rory kept climbing up my legs and when i stood up he kept running around my feet. He was telling me that he wanted to go to the other room.
So i caught Rodney and put him across the stair devider, picked up Rory who was still hovering around my feet and swapped them over.
Rory run around the hamster room for a bit then came back to me and that meant that he wanted to go home.
I guess the party is over and he had a good time.

Ha ha. He clearly liked it! I must try that in the cage next time. When I've given them birthday cakes out of the cage they have been viewed suspiciously or they've run off to play instead! Better in the cage I think. Love the green dish.

I had originally planned to set up a little table in the hamster playground but then thought it would throw his routine.
Instead i put some very small pieces of broccoli on the cake dish because he gets his fresh veg around that time.
I half expected him to pouch the veg and ignore the cake.
The green dish was Henry's.

Re: Happy Birthday Rory!
No need to down play your cake making skills Ria, Rory obviously wanted to go back home to make a start on it. Well earned indeed.
