Where is the April Hamster of the Month photo competition?

I've seen LunaTheHamster1's entry for the Spring/Easter theme but now i can't find it.

Unless i'm missing or overlooking something?

Yes. I couldn't find it in the Forum. Must be me because i'm pretty hopeless with things like that.

In the Hamster Photo Contest section, right at the bottom of the main page.

It is tricky to find if it doesn't show up in latest threads. It's right down the bottom in the last section entitled "Bug Corner"! Second of the three headings.

That's where i looked and that's where i normally find it but i could only see the one from last month.

I wonder if that's part of the reason why there haven't been that many entries lately. Newer members may not be able to find it.

I just had a look and it is posted in the same place as always? Once a thread has been read and no new posts it won't be shown in recent as other threads replace it

How strange. Here's a screenshot of what i mean. I can only see the March one.

Hi Ria P, I don’t see it on the front page either at the mo, but it was there last night. It appears when I use the Search function and type in April. Maybe the site just shows a little differently depending on what your using to view it?

You just click on that link for the photo competition. It’s showing the March one because that’s the last one that was opened in that thread. Once you click on it to open the full photo competition thread, all of them will be on there and you’ll see the April one at the top . So for example if you had last looked at the March one that is the one that will show as the latest one read in that thread. But if you open that whole thread topic you’ll see all of them. If you then open the April one, that one will then show on the Main page as the last one read.

It’s a bit chicken and egg with the visibility on latest threads. Because the more people enter, the more it shows up on latest threads. But the less it shows on latest threads, the more people don’t see it to enter. I agree it could maybe be more prominent each month.
