The wheel lasts longer when used upside down I find, because when used the right way up, after time it starts to lean on the stand and rub against the base - doesn't happen when it's used upside down. It's also very secure.
To resize photos. Are you using a computer? Quickest way is in Paint in windows 10. You just click on "resize", select "pixels" and set the top set of numbers to 650. the bottom set changes automatically - then "save as". that's the right size to upload and fit on the forum page
Our first hamster was about 6 feet away from the side of the TV (cage on the floor) and no issues. TV on most of the day here too when the child is in the house. It is better if they aren't too near a TV - might mean moving the furniture round a bit!
I take it that your hamster is a Syrian. I have set up a Hamster Heaven for a Syrian before but then got an Alaska because of the extra height. The wheel is a 10in and can be fixed to the bars.
