It's difficult judging when to go as it's so hard to book on the ferry these days due to social distancing and therefore limited passenger numbers.
I'd phone to see what hamsters they have available and reserve if they don't have many.
What's Pampered Pets like for hamster supplies? There's a pet shop in the Eastgate as well. I find that small independent pet shops sometimes have better and more interesting supplies then p@h.

Yes - I will take with me the details of the shop in the Eastgate as well, just in case, although I phoned them a few days ago and they only had a few dwarfs and didn't stock robos. They won't reserve animals, and neither will p@h - even if I pay for them. I will phone p@h tomorrow as that is when they get their supplies, and see what they have. If there is very little choice - or they don't have any - we will just have to postpone our trip. It's one of those times I wish we lived on the mainland - then we could go anytime.

I've never been to Pampered Pets. On the rare occasions we go to Inverness, we always have a shopping list as long as our arm of things we can't buy on the island and just go where we need to...especially while the pandemic still rages on. But if we are somewhere close we might have a quick look in.
