Default Is fuchsia plant safe for hamsters?

Hello
I was wondering if the fuchsia plant is safe for hamsters?
Is it safe to Keep it in their cage? Does anyone have any idea?

I can't say for sure on the safety of this specific plant outside the cage but keeping live plants in cages in general is never a good idea. Soils should pretty much all be considered unsafe(pure coco coir being the exception, but even that has strict precautions to be taken for safe use). Even using coco coir they'd introduce too much humidity into the enclosure which can lead to respiratory issues, mold, etc.

Oh i have added this reptile coco fibre block in my hamster’s cage
Should i remove it ??

Hi, not sure about hamsters and fuschias, although I have read fuschias are eddible for animals/humans.

Re the coir brick, lots of people use them. I tried it once but got too worried so took it out of my hamsters cage. I have friends that use them just fine. If you do use it, like Amityville says I would just suggest that you keep an eye out for mould and/ or anything living in it.
I think it's down to personal choice but just be aware of what could happen, it doesn't mean it will happen.
