Re: Meet out new baby
I'm sorry to hear about Baldrick (I haven't been on here a while). Your new little ball of fluff is absolutely adorable! Glad to hear (s)he has a healthy appetite.

Re: Meet out new baby
So we have named her Doodlebug. She is so quick and lively and so unbelievably friendly that we just thought the name fits.
She is an absolute joy to have around. It is getting towards winter here so the older hamsters Nanuk and Norman are spending much more time sleeping and only coming out for a quick look at their food bowls or for a worm or some fresh veggies, but our new little girl is an absolute livewire, running on both her wheels and flying saucer, darting through her tunnnels from her one cage to her other one, burrowing in her substrate and generally exploring everything.

Re: Meet out new baby
Please Pvt message any tips for getting these cheeky little ones to get used to our interaction! I just got a cheeky little man 10 weeks old last week and he's so nervous he's getting there slowly tonight he gladly ran across my hand inside the cage for a bit but he still jumps a lot and I'm scared to move further with the taming when he's jumpy.
