Hamsters and colours

I wonder if hamsters prefer certain colours to others.

Our dwarf Ozzy mostly ignored his light blue upright wheel and i very rarely saw him using it but he's always running on his dark blue flying saucer when awake.

A little while ago i bought a dark green wheel as a spare which looks almost identical to the light blue one but thought the blue one was a slightly smoother running wheel.

Since Ozzy didn't use his i gave it to Clarissa when she arrived on the scene and gave Ozzy the green one.

Strange thing is that he now runs on the green wheel quite a lot. It's in the same position and pretty much the same wheel but a different colour. He was underground when i exchanged the wheels so wasn't aware of it.
