Default I was wrong

I am getting a Chinese hamster, I thought I wanted a Robo and after thinking about it, I decided to go with a Chinese!! so excited. He's going to be my baby. :3
anything I should know about the Chinese hammy?

Chinese hamsters can be very timid & shy to begin with so you may need to be patient when it comes to taming & bonding with your new ham, don’t be tempted to rush things & give him or her time to settle in.
I find they do well with a fairly large cage but it is important not to have too much open space in the cage so lots of little hideouts & plenty of deep substrate, they love to burrow in the substrate.
Bear in mind too that they are one of the species that are prone to diabetes so be careful with the diet, no sweet treats, honey or sugars.
