ha ha, what a surprise NOT. He is a cutie. It always just shocks me that some people just don't see that, their loss. I am sure he will be very happy with you and also bring you lots of joy.

Can't wait to see what kind of personality he'll grow into.

Collected this gorgeous little girl today who was going free on one of the sites and not far from where i was working. She's going to a friend's rescue for rehoming. She's a young longhaired, chocolate brown hamster, friendly and so so shiny.

Thanks. My friend just send me a video of her running in a proper wheel for the first time.

Our Syrian boys paid an awful lot of attention to me last night when they were out on their individual freeroams. Middle aged Rodney, youngsters Jack and Clive and old boy Rory behaved in identical ways.

As per usual, i sat on the floor. They all climbed onto my legs, up my front, tried to chew off two buttons on my cardi, sat on my shoulder and clampered around my neck while sniffing, a lot. I'm not ticklish but hamster whiskers working overtime on my neck and face are in a league of their own.

A hamster always has an ulterior motive and then it suddenly clicked: they could smell the female hamster on my clothes and skin! And they were looking for her.
They didn't settle when i went to bed, Rory was pacing, Clive was chewing cardboard, Rodney asked to come out and Jack was comfort eating.

The scent of a woman has caused havoc in this house before but little beauty Misty was only here for a few hours.

This 7 month old boy was kept in a group until the inevitable happened and they started to fight. The group was disolved and the hamsters ended up in various p@h adoption tanks.

Trying to think of a proper name that sounds similar to Scampi and sofar the best i've come up with is Scottie.

Any ideas?
